We’re all waiting for the full details of Tiesto’s hotly anticipated Australian tour, and as the final details of where and when he’s playing are nutted out, ITM would like to allay the fears of his many fans and say that tickets WILL NOT be onsale tomorrow, Friday February 8th. As promised, all information will be released with more than enough time for punters to prepare for and purchase their tickets, so sit tight and we’ll give you all the updates as they come to hand.

I lived in Holland for 3 years and only returned last year. My friends and I experiencced 4 of Tiesto's events, absolutely amazing, including Sensation White, Global Gathering UK, Amsterdam Music Festival the launch of Elements of Life tour at Schipol Airport - HUGE. Now that I've returned to Australia it's opened my eyes to see how isolated we are here from international music. A lot of posts on here are negative and I'm wondering if it's because we're naive to the rest of the worlds views on internatinal dj's like Tiesto, and have watched them develop from the beginning of their artistic career. So for all those viewers who seem to think he's not going to fill his events in Australia 2008, tickets throughout the rest of the world have sold out within 1-2 hours of tickets going on sale. Plus the sensation white events others held up to 45000 people, all there to see Tiesto ! Groetes, NiksGal

i signed up just to say this lol on tiesto.com and the tiesto myspace it says his playing in melbourne on the 26th of april at some place called family hall now ive never heard of family hall in melbourne and neither has google aprently and then i looked at the brisbane show and it says his playing at festival hall there....and as we all know there is a family hall/nightclub in brisbane and a festival hall in melbourne...so maybe they got it mixed up anyway..... WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT IT WOULD BE IF TIESTO IS PLAYING AT FESTIVUS HALLL THAT PLACE IS A SHITHOLE AND DOESNT EVEN HAVE AIR CONDITIONING thats my 2 cents peace

Guys - info on the myspace page is a little incorrect. Its Friday 25th at Family Night Club - Brisbane, and 26th at the Festival Hall- Melbourne.. they got their venues mixed up. I have already called The festivall Hall in melbourne and confirmed the above..... How excited am I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

For those who appear to have still not picked up the error. Either the venues or the cities are wrong. Festival hall (shit venue) is Melbourne, Family Hall (Night Club) is in Brisbane. Now its anyones guess as to whether the city (and there for date) is wrong or just the venue for these 2 shows.

From the noise in the forums at the moment, there seems to be quite a few people like me flying from Perth to catch Tiesto live! Any other people looking to travel to Brisbane for the April 25 show? If there are enough of us, it might be worth getting together and organising a VIP space at Family... Our own room... Our own bar staff... VIP entry... less hassle overall! Plus it'll be an opportunity catch up with like-minded members! Judging from the details on www.thefamily.com additional costs are more or less refunded with included drinks, so it would work out to be $50-60 more than the normal ticket price (yet to be announced). I've emailed the club to see if a space is available, and to clarify pricing. So if you're interested at all, please add a comment to this blog, or send me a private message via ITM.

Disappointed that Perth isn't on the list - looks like best case scenario would be the addition of a midweek show between Melb and Sydney events - I wont hold my breath but, just fly to Brisbane and Sydney shows :)

FESTIVAL HALL as a venue for the first time Tiesto's ever properly had a "gig" in Australia? that's shattering. the festival hall site says that the max standing room is 5445 people. I was expecting a stadium of some sorts or maybe even the music bowl for melbourne. were talking about the muhamed ali and tupac of DJ's here, this guys a living LEGEND! DJ TIESTO: =) VENUE: =(

WTF!!! .....He is playing at FESTIVAL HALL??!!!! The dance FLOOR is only up to 2,600 standing the rest is seated!!!! It's going to be a crap!! I was thinking it would be at VODA PHONE arena.
