After wowing audiences in Sydney and Queensland last year, the V Festival will be taking it national in 2008. And while The Pixies were the drawcard headline act of the inaugural event, this year it’s 90s heroes the Smashing Pumpkins who will be at the top of the bill along with Queens of the Stone Age, Duran Duran and more. And now ITM can reveal the second round of acts that have been added to the bill…

meh - murphy is a good add though. how did they get it so right the first year and so wrong the second? it's a shame when all the headline bands these days are washed up reunion acts who couldn't cut it solo.

I hope the Pumpkins stick to their old-school stuff. That will keep me happy. Queens may actually steal the show from them... guess we will have to wait and see. Presets will be good for a different tempo. Still going to treat it like a ROCK concert thoug
