The Chemical Brothers are set to land in just a few weeks time, and in addition to headlining the national Future Music Festival tour they’ve got arena sized solo shows planned for Sydney and Melbourne in early March, proudly presented by inthemix!
There’s no point talking up the duo’s exceedingly large impact on modern dance music, having released seminal album after seminal album ever since their entry onto the worldwide scene in the early to mid 90s.
Tom and Ed are riding high on the success of their most recent album ‘We Are The Night’, walking away from the Grammys last weekend with the ‘Best Electronic Dance Album’. They’ve now announced the supports for the two headline shows, so it’s well and truly time to get excited!
First up, the duo will be joined at all sideshow and Future Music Festival dates by their longtime tour support DJ James Holroyd, aka Boggy. In addition, they’ll also have electro’s man-of-the-moment Muscles on board for their Sydney and Melbourne arena shows.
Chemical Brothers tour dates, proudly presented by inthemix:
Wed Mar 5th – Vodafone Arena, Melbourne
Fri Mar 7th – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
Stay tuned to ITM for updates.

I felt I had to register an account here just to say how much I hate muscles and how the fuck does he manage to get a spot with the chemical brothers. I truly don't understand this. I come back home to see daft punk and I couldn't believe everyone was singing those playschool sing-a-longs with muscles. The Sydney/Aus scene has truly hit an all time low. I really hope he does get booed so he realises it takes alot more to get a crowd moving.
