He’s one of those DJ names that gets people giddy with excitement, and if you’ve seen him before then you’ll surely want to see him again. We already knew Ben Watt was going to be here for Sydney’s Playground Weekender Festival in March, but he’s now confirmed for sideshows around the country. Get it up ya!

Best known to the wider public as one of the musical heads that was once behind Everything But The Girl, along with his partner Traci Thorn, Ben Watt has since immersed himself in house music and kicked off the successful Buzzin’ Fly label, which has been responsible for unearthing talent like Justin Martin as well as Mlle Caro & Franck Garcia, a duo that have just been responsible for delivering the imprint’s first artist album Pain Disappears.

Recently in Australia for our own national inthemix 06 tour not too long ago, as well as the We Love Sounds festival tour June long weekend, Ben Watt is loved by the dance music community for talent for taking the edgier sounds of tech and electro, and bringing them together with the soulfulness and emotion of deep house.
