There’s been murmurs around the place, including the ITM Forums, that Richie Hawtin’s seminal M_nus record label would be launching an Australian tour in the coming months to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Hearing these rumours, inthemix decided to do some snooping of its own, and we managed to uncover the dirt!
Speaking with Hardware, they revealed that the M_nus 10th anniversary tour would indeed be visiting our fair shores, touching down on Friday May 30th, just in time for the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, then sticking around until Saturday June 14th. The tour is set to be headlined by M_nus label artists Gaiser from the US, and Marc Houle from Germany.
M_nus was launched by Canadian techno impresario Richie Hawtin. Known for pushing the boundaries of electronic music, the label has maintained a reputation for “exploring new mediums and their relation to music and technology.” Anyone with a serious interest in electronic music should get themselves along to one of the M_nus anniversary showcase events!
Full national dates and venues will come shortly, so stay tuned to ITM for updates.
