No doubt Perth’s finest ever dance music export, the one and only Pendulum will make their triumphant return to Australia in April, setting out on a live tour of their home country for the very first time. Although it won’t be the debut of their live show down under – having played a sold out show at Belvoir Ampitheatre in Perth on NYE 06/07, check the YouTube clip below for a taste of that legendary night! – it will be the first chance fans outside of WA have had the opportunity to experience Pendulum in all their live glory. Their shows in Sydney and Melbourne are proudly presented by Civil Society and inthemix!
The tour coincides with the release of Pendulum’s eagerly anticipated sophomore album ‘In Silico’, which comes out on their own label Ear Storm via Warner in the coming months. Preceded by the singles ‘Granite’ and ‘Propane Nightmares’, the album is expected to see their profile continue to grow in 2008, building on the success of their 200,000 copy selling debut LP ‘Hold Your Colour’. Tickets for the Sydney and Melbourne shows go onsale at 9am on Thursday March 6th. Details for Adelaide and Perth ticketing will be announced soon.
Pendulum ‘In Silico’ tour dates:
Apr 15th – Adelaide, Shores Complex
Apr 16th – Melbourne, Hi Fi Bar & Ballroom – presented by Civil Society & inthemix
Apr 17th – Sydney, The Metro – presented by Civil Society & inthemix
Apr 19th – Perth, Robinson Pavilion
