Were you at the ITM members BBQ in October last year, featuring the talents of Germany’s Stephan Bodzin? A select group of ITMers were given the chance to catch the DJ play an exclusive downtempo set as a prelude to his mainroom performance later in the evening, while also stuffing their faces with sausage sizzles – all without paying a cent. And this Easter it’ll be back as the latest installment in the Smirnoff Inthemix Party Series, this time with Nic Fanciulli behind the decks as the special guest. And again, for the first 150 people through the door it will be absolutely free!

Kicking off from 8pm, it’ll be open to anyone with standard ITM membership who fills out the RSVP, and there’ll be free food aplenty as well as Smirnoff drink offers. It’ll be a great way to catch up with familiar names in the ITM community as well as meeting new ones, and those who RSVP will be entitled to free entry to the club for the whole evening. For those who aren’t able to make it to the BBQ they’re still be welcome to come and watch Fanciulli play his headline slot for the special price of $15 before 9pm and $20 afterwards – just mention the ITM promotion at the door.

Nic Fanciulli is returning to our country for a full national tour in March, and many dance music fans will have more than a few fond memories of his previous visit as part of the One+One experience last year, when he buddied up with his partner-in-crime James Zabiela. He’ll be by himself this time, but anyone who’s ever caught him DJing before will know what to expect: crankin’ tech house at its absolute finest. Expect the unexpected however when he’s playing his warmup set in the Sand Bar earlier in the evening: it’ll be a rare opportunity to catch him playing a DJ set in a completely different context, showcasing a different side of his musical personality.

Nic Fanciulli. Sausage sizzles. Excellent music in an unusual context. And did we mention it’s 100% free?

It all takes place at the Chinese Laundry from 8pm on Saturday March 22nd, so if you’re keen then don’t delay – click here to RSVP today! And check out this footage from when he was last here in Sydney as part of the One+One tour…
