Sweetchilli doing it for free in March

Throughout the entire month of March the Sweetchilli crew will open their doors for free, doing their weekly Friday night without a cover charge to celebrate the impending renovations and renaming of their home the Civic Underground (formerly known as the Civic Theatre). It’s not just Sweetchilli who are opening their doors up, though, as the Civic Underground’s Saturday night Global House District will also be cover charge free in March.

The official relaunch of Sweetchilli happens in early April to coincide with the completion of renovations, which include a $20,000 Allen & Heath Valve v6 mixer (one of only two in the country), new booth seating, white leather walls, a new lighting rig and a new position for the DJ booth (now sitting out on the dancefloor). The Sweetchilli crew have also indicated they’ll be launching a new Saturday and Sunday morning ‘after hours’ recovery party in the near future, running each weekend morning from sunrise until 11am.

just to clarify. The after hours will be Sweetchilli afterhours on Saturday mornings and Deep House District on Sunday mornings but all under the roof of Civic Underground. This was the venue's idea and we think a good one. Will be an amazing place to kick back in the morning
