He was ranked as Australia’s most popular DJ for 3 years running on the inthemix50 poll, he’s hosted his own show on Triple J, mixed a stack of CDs for Ministry of Sound, played just about every club and festival Australia has to offer, toured the globe several times, and released a bunch of tracks and remixes on record labels at home and abroad. Having seemingly done it all, this March we’ll see longtime inthemix favourite Kid Kenobi taking on his first Sydney club residency since he started out as a DJ all those years ago!

Kenobi has selected Chinese Laundry to setup shop, choosing their weekly Saturday night The Club Club as his Sydney home. He’ll be kicking the action off on March 15th, returning monthly thereafter to shake the Laundry to its foundations. Kenobi will perform without longtime wingman MC Shureshock for these intimate club dates, so it’s a rare chance to see him going solo.
