Having vacated the presenters chair at Sydney station FBi a little while back, it’s been announced that Australia’s reigning prince of the disco Ajax will move in to the Triple J studios over the Easter long weekend to help them celebrate everyone’s favourite god fearing holiday.

Ajax will be filling in as host for Triple J’s long running DJ mix program Mix Up, so be sure to tune in when you’re driving to or from the clubs over the long weekend. If you’re not driving, you could always ask the cab driver really nicely if he would mind switching the channel over. It might work!

As well as Ajax on Mix Up, the long weekend also marks the launch of Triple J’s newest program, House Party with Kirileigh Lynch. She’ll be pulling out the biggest indie disco tunes and bootlegs, so it’s sure to get your head nodding and feet stomping.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

He's host for the month of March, not just one weekend mate, the tracklist from last week is up now.

Errr it's the patrons right to have the radio on whatever station they want in a taxi. You don't even need to ask nicely. I look forward to hearing Ajax talk more than his music sometimes. He made me laugh so much on FBi. God bless his soul

Hasn't Ajax been hosting mix up for the last couple of weeks???...And I'm sure House Party has been on the last 2 weeks as well if I'm not mistaken.

it's great that the j's are sacrificing hours to play legitimate music to promote bootlegs. bootleg artists need all the support they can get. so next time you go in to a store you can ask for that michael jackson song with mylo.

it's great that the j's are sacrificing their hours of support of legitimate music by having an 'indie disco bootleg' show. songwriters don't need the promotion or airtime. if this trend continues, you may just be able to go in to a shop and say 'can i ha
