How’s that for a massive lineup? The Loft, Bungalow 8 and Playground Music are teaming up the Easter Sunday to bring the Good Times experience to Sydney. And with two of the biggest headliners from this month’s Playground Weekender festival, how could you possible go wrong?
First up is the Queen of England’s choice of DJ himself Norman Jay. He’s helped shape the face of modern electronic music, with an energetic blend of 20th century black music, jazz, poetry and hip hop, just to name a few styles that you regularly hear in his DJ sets, as well as his legendary Good Times mix compilations.
Joining them will be another Australian favourite, Crazy Penis – a production team, live band and DJ collective who’ve been constant visitors to oiur shores since they blew up big with their There’s a Better Place, which famously sampled Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. They’re back with a new album titled Love On The Line, and they’ll be bringing the full live experience on Easter Sunday.
As if that wasn’t enough, they’l lbe joined by local support from The Bionics, Jimi Polar & Jamie Lloyd, Mark Walton pres. Fretless, Simon Caldwell, Soulshaker DJs Noodles & Noel Boogie and more. You can grab your tickets at $30 for 1st release, $40 for 2nd release and limited VIP tickets at $80 each, which gives you access to your own area and table service, with complimentary drinks on arrival.
