After the cancellation of his planned gig in Melbourne on Easter Sunday, The Late Show and Revolver Upstairs have announced they’re coming to the rescue, squeezing Alex Metric onto their Easter lineup at the last minute.

An extremely talented producer, Metric made his mark with the release of his debut EP on the acclaimed Marine Parade label. At just 26 years old, he’s played gigs spanning the globe from Fabric in London to Eastern European festivals and Los Angeles club nights. He’s also developed a significant reputation for studio work with stars like Adam Freeland and Darren Emerson.

Nominated as Breakthrough Producer at the 2006 Breakspoll Awards, Metric’s driving remix of the Jape hit ‘Floating’ was recently featured on Adam Freeland’s Global Underground 032: Mexico City mix CD. He’ll play Revolver Upstairs on Sunday 23rd March with Nick Thayer, Lynt and Rollin Connection, for the bargain price of $15!
