Following the release of ‘Birdville Sessions’, the boys from The Bird are back with their newest LP, ‘Re-inventions’. This album features the same line up of Bobby Singh (Tabla) and Barry Hill (bass), joined by Ben Walsh (drums) and Simon Durrington (keys).
The new album consists of a series of remix collaborations with some of Australia’s top producers and live acts. With a desire to keep evolving and pushing the boundaries of live electronic music, The Bird have collaborated with artists such as The Resin Dogs, Hermitude, Kobra Kai, DJ Ransom, Ritual, Semper Fi, Spoonbill & Johnny Hooves, and DJ Soup to name a few. The result are a dynamic record with a varying range of tempos, from hip hop to drum’n’bass, dubstep and
electronica.
To mark the album’s release The Bird are hitting the road for a short run of dates this April:
