The Supper Club, otherwise known as the mid level of Will & Toby’s on Oxford Street, will be home to a brand new monthly night called Restless Generation, with the launch party kicking things off on Saturday April 12th, and the second event happening on May 24th.
The intention for the night is to put the spotlight on the live aspect of club music, with bands, singers and musicians accompanying DJs at every event. the musical policy will feature house in all its many forms, including Balearic, soul, funk, disco, rare groove, Latin and even minimal when the time is right.
For the launch night the Vice Captain DJs will appear with vocalist, as well as Danny Bass & The Samba Sound System and Balearic DJ Shane. In May the lineup includes one of Sydney’s leading funk/house bands, Reel Sessions, as well as Rob Kay with Paulli on trumpet and key-tar and the Vice Captain DJs. Later in the year there’s plans to feature deep Frenchman Master-H as well as Chris Coco of the UK.
Stay tuned to ITM Whatson for updates.
