Miss Libertine’s Nano party is forever growing, building a strong name within the Melbourne scene. In the first of a series of specials events featuring home-grown Aussie techno talent, the team are presenting one of our nation’s finest exports; Adelaide’s Jorge Watts, on Saturday April 19th.

Since returning to Australia from a six-month stint in Chicago, Jorge Watts – also known as Loop Killaz, Tokyo 3 and the Azteckid – is fast becoming a name to watch. With his releases being played by the likes of Carl Cox, DJ Sneak, Slam, DJ Rush and Derrick Carter, to name but a few, Jorge has built a strong name for himself already.

In late 2007, Jorge unveiled his new moniker Mr. WattO. This is the culmination of his gravitation towards the minimal techno sound, and since returning from Chicago Jorge has been delving more into the raw stripped back element of techno, so if you want a taste of this, get to Nano!

Support comes from Nano residents Dave Pham, Nicholas Jouin, Andrew Jobe and Mike Callander, and tickets are just $15 on the door.
