No doubt one of the globe’s most celebrated turntable technicians, Mix Master Mike will make his return to Australia in late May for a comprehensive tour around the country. Mike is so far scheduled to play 8 shows, including several on the We Love Sounds lineup.

As a founding member of the legendary turntablist crew the Invisible Skratch Picklz with Q-Bert, Mike was also asked to join the Beastie Boys in 1994 as their DJ. He’s since toured the globe with the seminal hip-hop trio, including several visits to Australia. Of course he’s also maintained a solo career throughout, his most recent album being ‘Bangzilla’.

Mix Master Mike’s tour dates:

Sat 31 May – Canberra, Warehouse Festival
Sat 31 May – Sydney, Metro Theatre
Sun 1 Jun – Perth, Claremont Showgrounds
Wed 4 Jun – Cairns, Soho Nightclub
Thu 5 Jun – Brisbane, Family
Sat 7 Jun – Melbourne, The Esplanade Hotel
Sun 8 Jun – Sydney, We Love Sounds
Mon 9 Jun – Adelaide, We Love Sounds

Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
