Since its launch almost five years ago Ministry of Sound’s ‘Sessions’ release has quickly grown to become firmly entrenched as one of the most anticipated Australian mix albums released each year. With previous editions mixed by names like Dirty South, John Course and Mark Dynamix, it’s always interesting to hear who the MOS crew have lined up for future releases.

ITM has been given the inside word that the 2008 edition, ‘Sessions 5’, will be taken care of by local heavweights The Potbelleez and Goodwill. This will be The Potbelleez’s first for the Ministry label and follows on from their Pacha mix released late last year. Goodwill returns to the limelight having mixed last year’s ‘Annual’, but he’s an old hand at ‘Sessions’ having taken care of #3 with John Course in 2006.

Stay tuned to ITM for the full details over the coming weeks, including when it’s likely to hit stores and when you can see the boys on the national launch tour.

i don't think any ministry cd will top sam la more mix on the 'ministry 2008' cd... although i could be wrong, wouldn't mind seeing them mix less cheese, and use more features on ableton.

Please Please Please DO NOT include "Don't Hold Back..." i know it's one of their biggest tracks.. But its just going to be a wasted track that (i think) many people will skip when they play the CD.

Sessions 5 will feature the much-anticipated second single from The Potbelleez. It is massive.

Second single? I'm pretty sure that Don't hold back wasn't their first single. It was their 3rd I think.

Considering Don't Hold Back is their second single, I hope you're not talking about that

'Are You With Me' is the next single, and it's their third after 'Junkyard' and 'Don't Hold Back'. And it is utter rubbish. Terrible. A product of the record company pressuring them to churn out another single in the same style, it sounds like a pathetic

Last MOS release I bought was Discotek and I havn't grabbed a sessions or annual since 2006. Always sounds the same, with overplayed and boring tracks :(
