Aussie hip hop act TZU drew a lot of attention with their ’04 album Smiling at Strangers, and featuring hits like She Gets Up and even snaring them nominations for the Australian Music Prize. But they’ve got a new album due out the middle of the year called Computer Love, which will see them mashing into their funk, soul and hip hop sound a stronger influence of old-school analogue electronica – just check out the promo video below for proof, it’s robots galore! For a sneak peak at what to expect, they’ll be playing a slew of national shows in May and early June.

TZU’s Computer Love is out June 28 through Liberation Music, and check out the band at the following live shows…

Friday May 16 – Queens Theatre, Adelaide
Friday May 23 – Headlining The Deep Roots Festival – The Espy, St Kilda
Thursday June 5 – Beach Road Hotel – Sydney – NSW
Friday June 6 – The Red Room, University Of QLD, Brisbane – QLD

And check out this rather robotic promo clip for the upcoming new album…
