This Saturday the Pharmacy tour hits Adelaide, landing at Channel nightclub. Presented by the Eclipse crew, Echo and Killrockstar Entertainment, it looks like we’re set for both a diverse lineup and an all new combination of audio and visual. Eclipse touring have chosen the night to launch their new Accelerate brand.

As the name suggests… the tempo of music is set to increase over the course of the evening, starting with minimal techno and moving through electro, tech-trance, psy-trance and hard dance, before a blistering freeform finale. The wash lighting effect applied to the room is programmed to change colour to match changes in the style and speed of the music played as listed below. Eclipse and Channel have also arranged extra sound, lighting, projectors and a dedicated VJ in support of the Accelerate party concept.

DJs will be able to control aspects of the VJ performance using the same mixer. We are of course talking about the Pioneer DJM-800, which utilises it’s midi capability to simultaneously control both the sound and visual aspects of their performance. Not a bad effort!
