Solo Sydney show for DFA’s Maurice Fulton

Also known as Syclops, the revered Maurice Fulton from the DFA record label will be playing a solo Sydney show in June, courtesy of the Nice Productions crew. An American ex-pat who’s now based in Sheffield UK, Fulton has been producing cutting edge electronic music since the early 90’s and goes by many monikers, including Ladyvipb, Eddie & the Egg and of course Syclops. He’s also worked in the studio as the producer behind albums for names like Annie, Hot Chip, Chicken Lips, The Rapture and !!! to name a few, meaning that he’s already left a massive heritage behind.

As a DJ he’s known for combining a selection of garage, classics and contemporary underground dance music, and he’ll be bringing his unique style to the Civic Underground in June with support from Simon Caldwell, Woody, Somatik and more.

Maurice Fulton plays The Civic Underground on Friday 20th June, tickets on sale now at ITM.
