The Duke Spirit are one of the UK’s most brilliant and underrated rock bands. They released their second studio album ‘Neptune’ last month, produced by Chris Goss (who has worked with everyone from Queens of the Stone Age to Soulwax) it echoes a long line of revered British bands, like My Bloody Valentine, The Stones and Jesus And Mary Chain.
After The Duke Spirit featured on the last UNKLE album, adding vocals to their track ‘Mayday’, it seems James Lavelle and co were so impressed they decided to return the favour. They’ve remixed the band’s single ‘The Step & The Walk’, and you can get it from inthemix exclusively this week!
