We ummed and arred for months in anticipation of the first line-up, but none could have guessed the rabbits that Splendour In The Grass have been keeping in their hat for the final announcement!
The oh-so glorious Polyphonic Spree will be sliding on their coulourful robes and heading to the shores of Byron Bay. Joining them will be the manic New Young Pony Club, Tokyo Police Club, Lyrics Born and Albert Hammond Jr will be taking some time out from The Strokes to head downunder.
Lets not forget about the Aussies, because there have been some awesome late starters in the way of the magnificent Drones, Paul Dempsey and our fave old-schoolers Even.
Have a look at all of these beauties that will be joining the likes of Devo, Sigur Ros and Wolmother to complete the line-up for Splendour In The Grass 2008.

Halve the price and it would be great. I don't think any of those bands ask more that $30 for a sideshow. Same goes for the original line-up. Good bands though. Just don't have the economic value.
icametoparty says...
very poor, splendour. here we are paying $200 expecting a bang and all we get is aussie fillers that, as bobschled said, are $30 or less for a private show. aside from LB, there's nothing worth getting too excited about - not for that price. it'll be an awesome weekend, i guess i was just expecting a little more for that price

The polyphonic spree and devo will be worth the entry price alone
