Those proud practitioners of electro-pop – and frequent visitors to Australian shores! – the New Young Pony Club will return down under in August to partake in shenanigans at the sold out Splendour In The Grass festival on Byron Bay.

Just announced for Splendour’s second round line-up they’re no strangers to the Australian festival circuit, having appeared at V Festival, Falls Festival, Summadayze and Summafieldayze in the past. With all Splendour tickets sold out luckily you’ll still have the chance to see NYPC as they’ve announced their own headline shows for Sydney and Melbourne in early August. And what’s better still, the shows are proudly supported by inthemix!

The band are still riding high on the success of their debut album ‘Fantastic Playroom’, which was released in 2007 on the Modular label and garnered them a Mercury Music Prize nomination. The tour will coincide with the release of their latest single ‘Get Lucky’.
