After leaving crowds reeling on their ‘We Are Back’ tour in April, precocious party-starters Pnau are gearing up for Splendour In The Grass this August, as well as three select sideshows.

Since releasing their third and most commercially viable album last year, Peter Mayes and Nick Littlemore have become bona-fide pop stars. Their colourful, hedonistic live show was the talk of the Big Day Out Boiler Room in 2008, and it’s sure to have the same effect on Splendour.

Pnau’s August shows celebrate the release of new single, ‘Embrace’, and see Pnau stepping up to the kind of venues that scream “WE’VE MADE IT!” Coming along for the ride are pop specialists and fellow Splendour drawcards Operator Please, with Littlemore’s bro Sam La More spinning between sets.

Get your dose of dancing fruit and party anthems this August when Pnau present ‘The Embrace Tour’.

Fri 1 Aug – Palace Theatre, Melbourne
Thu 7 Aug – The Tivoli, Brisbane
Fri 8 Aug – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney

Stay tuned to ITM for updates.

If they came back to Perth, I'd go see them again. This is the awesome thing about the current music scene all the big names are in our own backyard and can tour consistently :D

i agree with Dakes our locals are all shinning recently here and abroad. I dont know about Melbourne and Brisbane but the Hordern in syd has a 6000 capacity. Can Pnau fill these big shoes?...probably lol oh and on another note Sam La More should bring his electro band thing-Ive- being- hearing -about from LA
