On the surface the Potbelleez – Australia’s reigning kings of the dance charts – have a few things in common with Delta’s fiancé and one-time Westlife member Brian McFadden, as disturbing as that might be to consider…
Originally from Ireland, but now based in Australia? Check. Had gold and platinum certified hit singles in their adopted home country? Check. Appearances on popular reality TV shows under their belt (The Potbelleez on Big Brother and Australia’s Next Top Model, McFadden on Football Star)? Check.
Sharing so much in common it should come as no major surprise to hear that The Potbelleez and McFadden have teamed up, right? To be honest it did surprise us… but considering The Potbelleez ‘so hot right now’ status for producing electro-pop gems it’s not that unexpected.
So smitten with The Potbelleez’s main-room sound, McFadden invited the boys into the studio to produce his newest single, ‘Twisted’. The follow-up to his Delta worshipping anthem ‘Like Only A Woman Can’, we haven’t heard the single yet, but McFadden describes it as “a pure pop track that allows me to highlight a lighter side to my music.”
With their new single ‘Are You With Me’ doing major things on radio of late, The Potbelleez are proving themselves a force to be reckoned with on the Australian music scene. Their debut album is scheduled for release later this year, and at present they’re in the midst of a 10 week launch tour for their ‘Sessions 5’ Ministry of Sound mix.

They've alienated the fan base they gained from pre- "Don't Hold Back" in favour of a mainstream, mindless audience. Junkyard was actually ok..

Saw the Potbelleez on Saturday night @ Family niteclub in Brisbane. They were pathetic and really dont have much to offer talent wise. Keep spinning your one and only track on Nova guys ! HA!

Potbellies are awesome.. If you are 15 and listen to NOVA or today FM. Lack integrity big time. Live they are awesome too its like the bad veronicas meets shouting fat man with his jacket undone and a gimp standing up clapping on his dj desk and the worst bit is they all think they are ripping as dont hold back is played over and over and over. Its all about integrity...
SlicyDicer says...
they should quit.
