The latest addition to the new wave of quality underground nights starting up in Sydney will be firing up this Friday night. Eat Musik takes over the basement confines of The Bunker and has what’s been described as an “open music policy.” More specifically, the organisers say you should expect to hear anything from “deeeeeeeeeeeeeep hypnotic shiz to rave-your-guts-out sound destruction.” And anything in between, of course.
Leading the charge for the launch night will be Matt Rowan, a DJ name who’s been popping up more and more around town recently, not least for the fact that he’s become a massively successful progressive house producer whose tunes are being thrashed the world over by Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman. And he’ll be supported by Obsidian unique hybrid of crunchy breaks, tech-infused house and deep progressive, with Eat Musik residents Jay Smalls, Andrew Wowk, Mortlock and Tiny Tim also cooking up a storm.
Eat Musik launching Friday June 27th at The Bunker, underneath The Bourbon. Get cooking!
