A regular favourite of Australian audiences, Meat Katie is set to swing back in August for a national tour, this time in aid of launching his brand new compilation ‘Sessions’. It’s something of a coup that Meat Katie’s been invited to compile a ‘Sessions’ mix for the Ministry of Sound UK arm, as it puts him in good company alongside the likes of Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak and Josh Wink. It’ll only be available on import, so if you’re keen be sure to order your copy from international stores.
Although he found favour amongst breakbeat fans, Meat Katie’s style has always been one that’s hard to pigeonhole, with his sound crossing genres like techno and house. Having done mixes in the past for Fabric and Bedrock, it’ll be another shining example of Meat Katie’s importance to the club scene, so be sure to check it out if you’re a fan.
