Two of the biggest names on the UK electro house scene, it seems natural that Mark Brown (owner of prestigious Cr2 label and half of MYNC Project) and Micky Slim (the guy behind last year’s club destroying remix of House of Pain’s hit ‘Jump Around’) would team up sooner or later.

They recently put their heads together in the studio and walked out with the track ‘You Know What’s Up’, an homage of sorts to the seminal Jungle Brothers hip-house hit from 1988 ‘I’ll House You’. The track features on their upcoming mix CDs ‘Cr2 Live & Direct’ and ‘Ministry of Sound Clubber’s Guide To Spring’, and they’re also visiting Australia in July to promote the release. If you like your house music delivered with a healthy serving of electro and heavy bass, then be sure to check the boys out at the following clubs.

Micky Slim & Mark Brown tour dates:

Thu 10 Jul – Rouse Hill Mean Fiddler, Sydney
Fri 11 Jul – Limelite, Freemantle
Sat 12 Jul – Chinese Laundry, Sydney
Fri 18 Jul – The Met, Brisbane
Sat 19 Jul – Platinum, Gold Coast

Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
