Can you believe it’s July already… do you feel another financial year older? The start of another month means we’re able to take a look at what’s been floating your boat over the past few weeks, so without further ado we give you “Junes’ most read on ITM”!

We might be stuck in the chilly depths of winter at the moment, but it hasn’t stopped the hype machine rolling on what’s coming up over the next few months, as summer’s traditional launch event (the Parklife national tour) topped the list of most read in June. It was way out in front too, beating the second ranking story (ITM’s scoop that Daft Punk are back in the studio) with almost three times as many views!

Proving that the most bizarre stories often attract a bizarre amount of interest, the revelation that some image conscious US clubbers had been using hemorrhoid cream on their bodies to get the ‘ripped look’ also piqued your interest, closely followed by the second part of our Armin van Buuren audio interview, one of three stories Armin snagged in this month’s top 10.

The lineup announcement for Sydney’s Freedom Festival followed, with the news that Godskitchen will return in 2008 close behind as well as another one for the bizarre file; an organized crime expert’s claim that “Cocaine has no future”. If that’s the case, Kate Moss is in serious danger.

Finally rounding out the most read for June, news on our competition for one lucky ITMers and a friend to head to Sensation White in Amsterdam snuck into the list. The event is this weekend and inthemix’s editor Tim Hardaker will be heading along with the winners to report back. Check out the Festival Page and blog to get all the latest info on their journey!
