Explicit turns two years old

Following their recent relocation to a monthly residency at the Chinese Laundry, the crew from Explicit have another reason to celebrate – they’re turning two years old! And they’re promising to bash that will be thrown in true Explicit style. Basically, things will be getting real messy.

Helping them attain this lofty goal, headlining in the dark confines of the Cave will be two staples of the underground scene in Sydney, the legendary Simon Caldwell as well as Phil Smart, who promise to throw down the deepest, sexiest and darkest selection of sounds you could hope for in a few hours. In the Laundry meanwhile there’ll plenty of grit, grime and noise with the Explicit punters guided down the garden path by Gus Da Hoodrat, who’ll be accompanied on headline duties by Mark Murphy, Ghetto Ruckus and Redbeard.

Explicit celebrates its 2nd Birthday this Friday 18th July at Chinese Laundry. Expect mayhem of the highest order. Full lineup below…
