For the past few years Godskitchen’s annual Sydney event was a club show at Home presented by Sublime. It’s been all well and good of course, but when compared to the size and scale of the Melbourne party at Vodafone Arena it often left local trancers feeling a little out in the cold.
Following the resounding success of many large scale trance parties in 2008 – such as Armin Only and Tiesto’s ‘Elements of Life’ – it seems the floodgates have opened for Godskitchen to spread its wings and expand into a significantly larger venue! The October tour, dubbed ‘Angel in White’ for Godskitchen’s 10th birthday, will hit Sydney on Saturday the 11th at The Dome, Homebush!
It’ll run from 10pm to 6am, with headliners Sander Van Doorn, Menno De Jong, John O’Callaghan and Jon O’Bir, supported by Sydney favourite Scott Richardson. First release tickets go onsale from July 15th for $69+bf, followed by $79+bf second release and $89+bf final release. Melbourne’s first and second release sold out in only two hours, so if you’re keen to get discounted entry be sure to get in quick! Tickets will be available through ITM as well as Ticketmaster.
Stay tuned to ITM for updates.

The dome is big, and cool for lighting. Otherwise, sound and seating are 100% fail @ The Dome

Last year the sound at the white party was actually really impressive. I'm pretty harsh on sound, but last year it sounded pretty damn sweet!

I have been to several Godskitchen events in Melbourne but am seriously considering coming to Sydney for the one this year. Guess I need a change. I loved Tiesto at the Hordern. My only concern is your venue. Do you think I should come to Sydney or stick with Melbourne and the Vodafone arena?
Robophobia says...
one of the worst things about the DOME is that it's right near the Novotel, it will only take one complaint and they will turn down the levels big time
