Beautiful sun-drenched beats are what you’re going to hear when France’s DJ Gregory touches down at Alumbra on Friday 15th August. It’ll be another Defected In The House gig, with the charismatic DJ Gregory bringing his unique sound of rolling tribal beats, deep, dark drums and African-inspired percussion to Melbourne.

After success with his popular Africanism project, his timeless tune ‘Tropical Soundclash’ and remixes for Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclar and Masters At Work, DJ Gregory is a man you have to take notice of! 2008 sees DJ Gregory back with a new CD mix for Defected titled ‘Faya Combo Sessions’, with sun-drenched Caribbean beats, smoking grooves and tribal percussion to order of the day.

Local supports at the Melbourne party include Franky D, James Belias, Simon Digby, Steve Bleas and more. We’ve been told to expect a night to remember, with another full-house at Alumbra surely on the cards as the venue lights up for their French guest. Pre-sale tickets are available now with a strictly limited Alumbra CD + ticket combo for $40.

Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
