The wraps have been taken off Stonefest 2008! Three months out from the October 31th – November 1st event, the crew at the University of Canberra (UC) are making an early release of everything you need to know about the city’s longest running music festival.

Stonefest began 40 years ago, named so after the University of Canberra’s foundation stone. Think what you like, but that should put those rumours to rest… Stonefest has grown and prospered over the years, attracting some of the biggest names in the music business. The festival has matured nicely thanks to the fact that the Canberra music festival season has become such a competetive environment.

Having found its own niche, Stonefest’s 2008 lineup surely features some interesting and awesome artists. It’s events like this that prove Canberra can match the big cities for diverse and excellent entertainment!
