Sensation’s long anticipated entry to Australia was confirmed last night, Wednesday July 23rd, at an intimate media launch event in Melbourne. Roughly 35 people attended the exclusive invite only affair, which was held in a function room overlooking Telstra Dome, Sensation’s NYE location.
A four course dinner was served to guests, with the entire meal made up of white food to fit Sensation’s now-legendary theme. That wasn’t the only flamboyant touch, however, with the entire room decked out in white carpet, curtains and decorations. Even the wait staff were dressed in white!
Having launched into more than 15 countries around the world in recent years – including Germany, Poland, Russia and Chile – confirmation of Sensation NYE in Melbourne will no doubt have those who’ve watched the event’s reputation grow over the years from afar excited at the thought of experiencing the very first Australian party.
Line-up details are expected in a few months time, however exclusive pre-sale tickets will be on-sale from Friday August 1st and available through Ticketmaster. The general public on-sale will follow on Monday August 4th. We’ll bring you all the details on price and ticket options in the next few days.
