The crew from Niche Productions have another massive surprise in store for those who love their funk, soul and beats, with soul music heavyweight Roy Ayers due for a round of dates around the country. Loved for hits like Everybody Loves The Sunshine and Daylight, he’s recognised as one of the finest artists of his ilk. He’s been doing his thing since the 70s but most recently, has collaborated with the likes of Erykah Badu, Jazzanova and Masters At Work.

But wait there’s more… Joining Roy Ayers on DJ support will be Nostalgia 77 from the Tru Thoughts label, who’s also become known for his ability to marry jazz with contemporary beat culture. And on a local tip, Australian funk kingpins The Bamboos will also be on board along with acclaimed vocalist Kylie Auldist to play tunes form their brand new studio album Live! Here!! Now!!! on Tru Thoughts.
