July was a big one for hotly anticipated event announcements with quite a few bombs dropping throughout the month, each of them sending the ITM community into a spin. Paul van Dyk to return down under for this year’s national Stereosonic tour, Underworld headlining Summadayze on January 1st in Melbourne and a few cheeky lineup additions for Parklife all had huge responses, but battling it out for the top spot in July were forthcoming ‘white parties’ Godskitchen and Sensation.

Taking the #1 place by literally a few hits, details for Godskitchen’s upcoming Angel In White tour reigned supreme for July, however Sensation backed it up by having three stories in the month’s top 10. Of course it wasn’t all about hugely hyped festival and tour announcements, as another recurring theme in July were reports on rather frightening international events. The catastrophic storm hitting Creamfields in the Czech Republic, Full Moon Party murders in Thailand and a festival laser-show mishap in Russia all setting tongues wagging.
