When people start describing your band as “f*cking awesome,” “sick” and even “the bomb”, you can be certain that you’re doing something right. Kiwi outfit Kora call their music “heavy-metal-dub-funk-blues,” are they’re known for delivering live sets that send crowds wild.
Their self-titled debut album hit Australian shores in February this year, after platinum sales and a #1 spot on New Zealand charts. They’ve played a diverse range of festivals, from the Big Day Out to WOMAD, and now their heading back our way with an east-coast tour this September.
