Hold onto your cravats! UK indie-rock bastions Bloc Party are back on our shores in November for five headline shows. The band recently caused a stir by only giving three day’s notice before releasing third album Intimacy. If the playing field is changing, these guys know how to keep up.
Intimacy is replete with all the rousing Bloc Party trademarks – punchy instrumentation, sweeping electronics, the urgent vocals of frontman Kele Okereke – that make their live shows so thrilling. Having recently triumphed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK, there’s no doubt the quartet is in fighting form.
Bloc Party get intimate in Australia this November. Tickets on sale 9am, Thursday 25 September.
