John Askew has been dubbed one of the trance scene’s best by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Armin van Buuren, as he’s widely known and respected for his effortless fusion of techno and trance. The albums have seen him doing what it says on the tin; recording them live in clubs around the world! So far he’s served up episodes from famed UK clubs like Passion, The Gallery and Turnmills, and even as far a field as Los Angeles and Beirut. Now it’s time for Australia to get a taste, with Askew choosing Sublime – the world’s longest running club night, and also recently voted #1 for NSW at the 2008 inthemix50 – to record his next CD.
