House heads rejoice; iconic UK label Defected is Australia-bound once more and will be ramming dancefloors this October and November during a whirlwind four-date Defected In The House tour. Headlining will be none other than label chief Simon Dunmore, who will be joined by a selection of Australia’s finest DJs at ITH events in Perth, Sydney, the Gold Coast and Melbourne.

At Alumbra in Melbourne on Melbourne Cup Eve, Dunmore will be on hand to launch the latest Alumbra In The House compilation (out 25 October). It’s a three CD release mixed by Melbourne up-and-comer Wei-Shen (of Those Usual Suspects fame), Alumbra owner Simon Digby and Dunmore himself. This second installment – following DJ Jorge and Copyright’s first Allumbra ITH earlier this year – signals an increasingly close relationship between Defected, Alumbra and the Australian dance scene.

Defected events continue to be referenced as some of the best house specific parties around, and this year they have stopped off in Brazil, Japan, India, Singapore and all across Europe. Now it’s our turn!
