You want festivals? You got ‘em! It’s been a recurring theme of our monthly “most read” wrap-up all year, but September 2008 will hereby be remembered as THE month for festival announcements and updates, with all 10 of our most popular items concerning the upcoming summer season. This is an all time first!

Topping the list we have the line-up details for Fuzzy’s legendary NYD party Field Day, but nipping closely at its heels we had the full venue and ticketing info for November’s Global Gathering tour. Good Vibrations made its first appearance when they announced their 2009 dates (#3), followed by a cryptic round of clues on their line-up (#4).

The much debated announcement of Sensation line-up for Melbourne NYE ranked at #5, with the revelation that Armin van Buuren would headline Summafieldayze in early January next on the list at #6. Parklife set times slotted in at #7, and Good Vibrations made its third showing in the most read list at #8 with our round-up of who ITMers felt would be on the line-up.

Finally, Stereosonic’s Melbourne line-up darted in at #9, with the first round announcement of artists for the Big Day Out ranking at #10, no mean feat considering it went online on the last day of the month!
