With an immersive live show to match its landmark albums, The Cinematic Orchestra is sweeping onto our shores in January 2009.
The UK collective, headed by composer Jason Swinscoe, traverses jazz, soul, funk and electronica in its wide-ranging compositions. Its line-up is malleable, with various vocalists and instrumentalists weighing in on each record. Over countless tours, TCO has finessed its performances to a point that no two are the same. Expect only to be wowed.
Only one Australian show has been confirmed so far, at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Tuesday 20 January. Sydney and Adelaide shows are still to come, so watch this space.
