In what is set to be the year’s biggest hip hop spectacle, Kanye West is bringing his Glow In The Dark tour to Australia – with special guest Nas. Last week we reported DJ Craze let dates slip for a scheduled tour of Australia in December supporting Kanye, but it turns out that was only half the story.
West has taken the Glow In The Dark concept right around America, calling on special guests like Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D. True to his rigorous demands, the shows put an emphasis on first-rate production design, staging and sound. Not to mention the man’s gold-plated repertoire of hits – from Jesus Walks to Flashing Lights.
Securing legendary wordsmith Nas as his offsider in Australia only sweetens the deal. We’ve had a few false starts with Nas here, but it seems in December we’ll finally see him in action. It’s as good a time as any, with his most recent release Untitled following a long line of defiant, incisive albums. Upping the star power, New Zealand heavyweight Scribe will open each show.
The Glow In The Dark tour touches down at the following venues. Tickets on sale Monday 13 October through Ticketek.
Dec 5 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Dec 6 – Acer Arena, Sydney
Dec 7 – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane

why do people keep rambling on about kanye ripping off daft punk? He sampled them in one of his songs, who gives a shit. Daft Punk songs are all massive rip offs of other songs but there still good. Daft Punk did not invent 'glow in the dark' but I heard they invented pyramids.

Dan_Mac you the man, first real shit I've read here. When are people gonna get of Daft Punk's dicks, it was a year ago. I've seen 100's of show's all round the world and that (neverland) didn't even come in the top 5. Nas better come, I flew to the staes last year to see him and he pulled out 2 days before...

saw the Kanye Glow In The Dark at Global Gathering this year in the UK..... the spectacle itself is nothing special, Armin Only and Tiesto's ELements Of Life def outshine this.... Nas is a good addition to the lineup he will probably perform better than Kanye
