One of the big guns of the ridiculously prolific Dutch trance scene, Ferry Corsten is heading back to Australia this summer as one of the headline acts of Summadayze in Melbourne and Perth and Summafieldayze on the Gold Coast. Thankfully Sydney won’t miss out on a slice of the action, as it’s just been announced Ferry will head up an extra special event at Sublime on Friday January 2nd, giving you the perfect place to start 2009 on the right foot!
Although he’s made his name alongside fellow trance kings like Armin van Buuren and Tiesto, in recent years he’s forged out his own niche, combining elements of electro to give his sound a more unique appeal. In 2007 Corsten played Sublime on the Eve of NYE, so it seems quite appropriate that this time he’s back to kick off the New Year in style! Tickets for the party went onsale today, and you can get them right here on inthemix.
Stay tuned for updates.
