The line-up of dance and hip-hop talent nominated at the 2008 ARIA Awards is perhaps the strongest in recent memory. It’s a sure sign that dance and electronic music has stamped its influence over the mainstream, as nominees not only feature in their own dedicated categories – like Best Dance Release and Best Urban Release – but also in the race for coveted awards like Album Of The Year and Best Group.
