If you’re keen to get a handle on the ins and outs of music law, at the end of October SAE Short Courses will be holding a seminar designed to give a broad overview and practical understanding of the fundamental concepts that govern music law and business affairs. Matt Handley from Central Station Records, one of Australia’s leading independent record labels, will be imparting his knowledge that comes from working as their in-house counsel and business affairs manager over the past several years.
Matt is also in the process of setting up a specialist law firm focusing on all facets of the entertainment industry, so he’s certainly an experienced hand in the area! The seminar takes place Thursday 30th October between 6.30pm and 9pm at the SAE Auditorium, and it’s free admission.
