Ten Pound Crew have done it again. Following the success of Parklife 2008, they’ll hit the ground running in 2009, working with Fuzzy, Future Entertainment and Cross Promotions to give Brisbane’s beloved BBQ Beats NYD party – check the slightly augmented name – a brand new setting!

Whilst BBQ Beats may seem like a newborn, it will continue to retain its established vibe and approach, with the new scenery of Riverstage and Brisbane Botanic Gardens playing host to a slew of vibrant acts to celebrate a fresh start to the New Year.

The first announcement of names include:

Sneaky Sound System
Public Enemy (feat. Flavour Flav & Chuck D)
Jackson Jackson
DJ Nu Mark
Mr Scruff
Bag Raiders
True Live
Mobin Master
Aquasky
Don Rimini
South Rakkas Crew

Starting at noon on New Year’s Day and finishing at 10pm tickets go on sale Friday November 7th at midday. Stay tuned to ITM for all the latest on BBQ Beats!

A festival is what you make it....its the friends you are with, not the people around you. I'm excited about this and seeing what the 10PC have got planned.
