Undoubtedly the biggest thing to hit Perth this NYE, Origin is a stadium spectacular boasting artists from across the spectrum of hip hop, dubstep, drum & bass, and ‘synthetic stadium rock’ (their words, not ours… but we kinda like it). Heading up the bill, it’s Perth’s finest export Pendulum, who will be performing a full live show ahead of their Big Day Out tour later in January. Not to be outdone, legendary hip hop outfit Public Enemy are also on board to ring in the New Year.

Also on the hip hop tip, Mos Def and Nu-Mark will feature, while dubstep will be taken care of by some of the UK’s finest underground stars, with Skream, Benga and N-Type on the bill. Last, but definitely not least, the drum & bass! How does D Bridge, Jenna G, Chase & Status, Noisia and Phace sound? It’s sounds damn good, that’s what. all of this goes down at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean on December 31st (duh!)
