We know that the inthemix community is bursting at the seams with undiscovered DJing talent, and with this summer chock-a-block full of festivals there’s no denying that the chance to play at one would be an exciting opportunity if you’re looking to give your budding career a kick start.
Days Like This! on Sunday January 4th features a stellar line-up of dub, hip hop, funk, soul, tech and indie artists, and it’s proving to be the festival of choice for discerning music lovers this summer. If you’re a bedroom spinner and you play the sort of music that’d be right at home on the Days Like This! line-up then we’ve got the competition for you! inthemix has teamed up with Days Like This! to give one DJ from the ITM community the chance to play at the festival alongside Fat Freddy’s Drop, Sharon Jones, Public Enemy, Morcheeba, Atmosphere, Carl Craig, South Rakkas Crew and many more. How cool is that!
As well as the opening set you’ll also get VIP tickets for you and a friend, your own drinks rider, a t-shirt and CD pack, and a double pass to the official aftershow party. If you’d like to be in with a chance all you need to do is submit your mix before December 10th. For the full terms and conditions head to inthemix’s Days Like This! festival page, then click the link at the top of the page to download the PDF info page.

ianwill1976> feel free to submit an entry - we'll be sitting down with the festival promoter to go through them all, so if it's in the vibe of the event you may get a run. obviously a 3am rinse out isnt really going to work at midday on an outdoor stage, so bear that in mind!
