Hold up ITMers! Official Future Music Festival lineup coming

The lineup for next year’s Future Music Festival has been a topic of much discussion amongst ITMers over the past few weeks. As one of the favourite annual tours of dance music fans nationwide it comes as little surprise that any new snippet of information to appear will be eagerly consumed and considered as gospel.
Initially the first round lineup for FMF was due for release today, but the team at Future Entertainment are continuing to work on making the bill for the 2009 tour as exciting as possible, so they made the decision to postpone revealing the details until next later next week. Earlier today Channel V inadvertently announced some incomplete details of the 2009 event, but after checking it out with Future Entertainment we’ve been assured it’s not the full monty, so hold your horses for the real deal! As the saying goes; all good things come to those who wait.
inthemix will be the first to announce the Future Music Festival 2009 lineup at 8am on Thursday November 27th, so be sure to mark the time and date into your calendar now. It’s gonna be huuuuuuge! In the meantime, relive the madness of FMF 2008 with ITM’s photo galleries:

it will be crap anyway if they have the sydney one again at randwick, last year FMF was very poor, sound was poor, and organisation was poor as well, FMF was amazing in its first 2 years there but its to big of a festival now to still be at randwick

FMF this year was the worst festival i have EVER been too, i actually the hole time was more exited to go home. it better be a BIG line up to get me there, or a better venue

fuck can't believe you guys didnt like last year. FMF was so fuckin sick. I saw D.I.M, Laidback Luke, Sven Vath, John Digweed and the Chems. All rocked, minimal bar lines, sick venue. psyched for this

I agree with the people who said FM lost the plot with this years festival in Sydney. Too big, shit sound systems, too many gronks and who wants to dance on an uneven surface (field) in the middle of a race track... Dance music has it's place... in big halls like at the fox studios. Leave the outdoor arenas for bands to play at like Home Bake and BDO. Hope someone at FM reads this and has a think about it?
